God makes it all right
We all have been through our ups and downs in life, we often wonder where this God we serve is. When all is falling on all sides of our life. Well we even go to the bible and it seems like, the bible tells us what we already know, but what we are not seeing in our lives. God says he will never leave nor forsake you, but still you feel like that He has forsaken you. Well He has not, He hears all your cries and all your pain. God is looking at you and saying, you are my gold and I have to make sure that you are the best and finest gold that this earth has ever seem so it is important that you go through the fire of purification so you can be refined, it may hurt right now but tomorrow it will be a deferent story. The Lord says, joy comes in the morning, so learn to have joy even when it hurts, even when you see no joy around, because you have something greater inside that is the source of your joy, look up and praise the Lord, for He has made it well with your soul. God has made it all right.
This is your time
This is month that has been sat aside for you, let your heart lead you, know the direction you want to take let all the great thing in life be part of your destiny. Remember what you put out to the world will determine what you receive from the world. Give you all this month in all you do, never slack on anything, remember these a higher power, a power above your own strength. The world is your play ground do not be limited in the things you can do. You are great, you are beautiful, believe and live it. You are born to lead and you are the future, you are a woman of tomorrow.
Jeremiah 11:29 for i know the plans i have for you.......Declares the Lord.

A leap into love

A leap into love

As we all know or should know, this year is a leap year. Why is this relevant you may ask?
Well, for some people it simply means that they get to have an extra day in the year. Others on the other hand, believe that women may ask out men. There is only but one error with this.
Traditionally it was the man who would pursuit and court a lady and if successful win her love. This is evident in the Shakespearean era. The reality is that times have drastically changed. A simple question to prove this claim, Ladies, say you liked a man and wanted to ask him out but couldn’t for the mere fact that it wasn’t a leap year, would you be willing to wait two maybe three years for the next leap year?
From my perspective, I find absolutely nothing wrong for a woman to ask out a man. I myself have been approached by women on many occasions and I must say, I find it very attractive. It says something about the woman, it tells me that she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid of going for it.
So ladies be it a leap year or not, find the courage to take a leap into love
Influence of television.

Influence of television.
Television is a form of media that has great ability to influence and brainwash the viewing public. Television maneuvers women into believing that everything that is being displayed on television is true or rather considered by most as being correct.
Over the years television has influenced women in a negative and positive way. I had the great privilege of speaking to women in the small town of matatiele and had the great chance of evaluating their views and experiences. Most of the women I conversed with said that television has played a huge role in their lives especially when it comes to their physical image. The women also said that television has brought about the image of the skinny girl, with blonde hair and blue eyes this was therefore considered the 'perfect girl'. This image has led to most women wanting to change the way they look because if you weren't considered 'perfect' then it was difficult to get into the media and pursue your dream if you wanted to be an actress, presenter etc. This has led to many women having a low self-esteem.
Television is a great tool for learning, communication and information, though the information may be misleading at times. You get to travel around the world without leaving the comfort of your home. Television has tremendously influenced the love lives of many women, every lady would love to be swept away by their prince charming, it is quite unfortunate that most relationships don't work out because of the high expectations women have when in a relationship.
Whether we like it or not television has a great impact on the way we behave and see ourselves so it is up to us individually to take control over our lives and not let technology ruin our lives.

Disabilty for possibility
Disabilty for possibility
We set down to chat to one of the most active physically disabled woman i know, when i say active i mean she is involved in so many movements and hold high possession in local and provincial organisation for people who are disabled, she stands as a voice for many in her community. Andiswa Kakaza. Many will know her as a clerk at the TB hospital in Matatiele Khotsong TB hospital.
She is the oldest of four siblings, to a single mother who was unemployed, Andiswa finished her high school and because she could not afford to carry on, she had to find work, to support herself and her siblings including her mother. She took on the role of a mother to her younger siblings and had to pay for their school fees and make sure that her mother and they were taken care of. She then went on to educating herself, furthering her studies and has attained a diploma in HRM; she was the first person in her family to attain any high education.
She was not born with her disability; she was involved in a car accident in 1990 that left one leg shorter than the other. She tells me that she had a great support system, her family. She tell me that she grew up in a religious family that didn't believe in using medicine, and so her aunt being a nurse knew he importance of getting medical attention to my condition, took me in as her own. She tells me that she was teased as a young child she didn't not understand why this was happening to her. She says any time she would see people gossiping she would think they are talking about her and she would get defensive and fight them. She grew up with her older brother (cousins) who taught her how to fight, she tells me that she was great fighter, but she started a fight she could not win she would play her disability to her advantage. She says inn high school she stopped fighting, because she felt excepted and part of everyone. By the way she never had problems with getting boyfriends, but she feared being played or used, she knew she was different so that was her biggest problem with dating.
I asked her how she feels when people stare on the streets, she tells me that people have different views of "them"; some people think that disable people are luck, even asking them for lotto numbers. She feels that disable people have been oppressed, they have not been provided with equal opportunity for a good education only 3 in 10 people with a disability are educated. she tells me that the is a stereotype of disabled people, even when applying for a job as soon as someone hears the name disabled they don’t think you can do anything, and that is no the cause many disabled people are able to do a lot of thing that abled body people can do.
They don’t like the term physically challenged, because to them the disability will not pass, a challenge is something that will pass, there prefer physically disabled. They are capable, but limited by the environment.
When she looks in the mirror she does not see her disability but she sees a person, just like any other person next to her. She tell me, she is human first, and then disabled.
Here all the boards she serves on: Local, District, Provincial -NYDA, social Development. Body representing Disabled people, education programs- awareness programs.
I asked her one important question; "are you happy". She gave simple answer, yes she is happy. Thinking of where she comes from, to where God has places her, she thanks God for her brain, from taking her from A-B-C. She is proud of her family as big as it is, i was the first graduate.
She want people to treat people with disabilities with respect and know they are to are humans.

Bella Liphapang
Bella Liphapang

She is an African woman, child of God, mother, wife and a hard worker. Business woman Bella.
She is the mother of two beautiful young teenage girls, her two daughters do not live with her they are in boarding school. This gives her a chance to do her work which is also her passion. Her family means the world to her and holidays are the best time for her because she gets to be with the family. They love taking family holidays as often as they can
Because she works long hours, so for her the more time she spends with her family , the more she can work. She has a very strong support system, which is important for anyone doing anything, more so business that require a lot of time.
She loves Matatiele for her business, because this is where she started, there where a few resources so she came with her own ideas and could nurtured them into something great. The community have supported her and her business. She says that Matatiele was a great place to start this business, because she grew at her own pace and had no real competition, she wouldn't have done it anywhere else.
Bella had a passion for this business, she had no formal qualifications for decorating, but she went to a course over a weekend that taught her all the basics of decorating. This proves passion can be all it takes. She has came up with new ideas as she grew and she learnt as she went along, listening to what her clients wanted and she learnt from them and she is still learning.
I asked her why she started this business and she told me as a “makoti” ( new bride) she was required to attend a lot of events and she was not to impressed with some of the tents she would be sitting in, so she decided to start by buying two tents . She also started to decorate the tents, she used her own curtains from home and some of her own decoration like flowers she had at home, she would listen to what her clients wanted and she grew from there. She tells me that she did not have money to start her business, but thanks God for her husband who supported her and gave her starting capital. Her husband did not like the idea of borrowing money from the bank.
She has worked in a number of places, Mthatha, Durban, Underberg, Swartberg and the market she really would love to crack into is JHB.
She tells me of the importance of humility and staying humble when you are a person in business and a person on the height of success. “I thank God for who I am”
"In business you have to know how to deal with people, people are demanding and you have to be able to communicate with them", Bella builds relationships with her clients, she believes that clients are the most important people for your business and the best way to advertise your product, people know people and if you provide them with value for their money, they will talk about you and even refer people to you. She stays in touch with her clients and builds friendship with them, she give first class treatment to everyone coming through her doors.
She would love to share her knowledge of the business with the younger generation, teaching them the skills and tricks of this trade. She would love to open a school of décor. I asked her what she does to relax. Bella loves reading, she spends around R200 on book a month, she love music and spending time with her family.
Hard work, discipline, humility, Bella does not compete with anyone but herself. This a great recipe for success, be you, don’t try to be anyone or compete with anyone. Be humble and disciplined. RESPECT PEOPLE.
She would love to mentor kids, give them work experience.
She is one of the most successful business women in Matatiele and yet she is the most humble woman I know.
Thank you Bella Lephapang for this great feature.

Change someones life adn Rewards of giving

Change some ones life and Rewards of giving
We always preach about ubuntu and fail to practice it. We wait upon the government for everything even when God has blessed us with the ability to provide food for more than one family, when He has given us money to take a street kid into our homes or send a child to school. When the Almighty has given us the strength to provide bursaries for the disadvantaged students.
Today we have to face consequences of an increasing crime rate because of all the uneducated kids who wander the streets looking for ways to provide for their families and put food in their bellies. We need to learn to open up our arms and share also with our neighbors so we can touch and change people's lives. While doing so we would be unconsciously planting wings in their dreams so they could learn how to fly towards success. God is not going to use stones to bring breakthroughs into people's lives, He is waiting to use us. We must be ready to be His delivery girls or rather post women to deliver breakthroughs to His children.
Giving and changing somebody's life is not always about giving money as the saying goes, "when you give a man a fish, you provide food for him for that moment, but when you teach him how to fish you provide food for him for many days".
Another man also said the most precious things in life are free. Sometimes all people need is a hug, a friend, a smile, family, love and sleep. Sure money makes the world go round but the greatest things in life, money can't buy. So go out and give your time, share your love and your happiness. What ever God has blessed you with make it a blessing to someone's life. God upholds and rewards those who give.
